Akogun Iyiola Oyedepo is a respected elder statesman, author, public intellectual, community leader, and advocate for responsible governance.
For many years, he has spoken clearly on justice, democracy, development, accountability, and the need for leadership that puts people first. His public life has been guided by courage, principle, and a deep belief that government must serve the people, not abandon them.
Today, that conviction has brought him to the people of Kwara South with a simple message: our communities deserve better, and our voices must count.
Kwara South is blessed with hardworking people, rich culture, fertile land, enterprise, education, faith, and history. But too many communities still struggle with poor roads, insecurity, neglected farmers, weak infrastructure, youth unemployment, inadequate healthcare, and limited access to opportunities.
This campaign is not about one man’s ambition. It is about building a movement for dignity, fairness, development, and accountable representation across Offa, Oyun, Irepodun, Ifelodun, Isin, Ekiti, Oke Ero, and surrounding communities
Akogun’s agenda is focused on the real concerns of our people. It is practical, people-centred, and rooted in the everyday challenges facing communities across Kwara South.
Our people deserve to live, farm, travel, worship, trade, and raise their families without fear.
Communities, farms, markets, schools, and health centres must be connected by roads that support life and commerce.
Farmers are the backbone of our communities. Their safety, productivity, and access to markets must be treated as priorities.
Young people deserve more than political slogans. They need skills, jobs, enterprise support, mentorship, and real pathways to dignity
Education remains one of the strongest tools for family progress and community development. Kwara South must not be left behind.
Every community deserves better access to basic healthcare, maternal care, emergency support, and functional health facilities.
Representation must return to the people through regular feedback, community engagement, transparency, and courage in public office
This campaign needs people who believe Kwara South deserves better. You can support from your ward, town, community, Lagos, Abuja, the UK, the United States, Canada, Europe, or anywhere you are.
Whether you can help with mobilisation, WhatsApp sharing, media, youth outreach, women engagement, community reporting, polling unit work, fundraising, or simply spreading the message, your support matters.
